Yesterday LJ and I were talking about how you never know who's watching what you do. Because someone asked him about something I posted.  Then I find out my sensei Nick Saraev has seen this blog 🫣 I don't know where to hide my face now. I've gotten comments on X and Mastodon, too, that tell me my frands are reading every word 🙈 (heya Patrice, Thomas, and Sen 👋)
And here I thought I'm talking to the void.
Speaking of which, I'm considering implementing a comments system here. Do you think I should? Thinking to try Derek Sivers' static HTML comments. (I know, I know, it's another one of those procrastinatey things but I promise I will only tinker with it on the weekends.)
Late start today but it was a very focused day. Completed all tasks. Lifted weights. Hung out with uncle & granduncle. It's midnight and I'm absolutely knackered but I have to go prep Mum's meals in a bit.
Today's big discovery is Youform*, which is a free alternative to Typeform. They've got Pieter Levels' testimonial in their hero section. Wow, that's like the biggest flex ever!

I have a degree in Marketing Management from University of Otago, New Zealand. I ran a successful restaurant for 13 years in Singapore, a brutally competitive market for F&B. I also ran a bakery for 7 of those years. I sold both businesses for 6 figures in 2019.
Then I taught myself to code, and have been working in software since. In 2021, I was hired as General Manager for a restaurant software startup, where I helped market and grow the app to $400k/year revenue.
On the side, I started building my own small projects, aimed at near-passive income. So began a 10,000-hour-long experiment to see if I can make $10k/month by "f*cking around and finding out". This blog is a daily record of the real hours spent & dollars earned.
